Jan 26, 2010 The Zero-Five antenna, that I mentioned above, does have ground planes so it could be raised up on a short tower. I don't know anyplace here in Canada that sells Zero-Five antennas which is why I don't know much about them. I will contact Zero-Five and see if there are any dealers up here and if not, I'll order it and have them ship it to me. Elk Antennas 2m/440 5-element log periodic beam seen above the EDZ. WARNING to those whose antenna tuners don't provide a DC ground to both ladder line leads: Perhaps due to the fiberglass poles, this antenna collects large amounts of static electricity which gets carried down the ladder line to my shack.
